I’m excited to announce that I, along with 24 other bloggers from around the country, was invited to the #Cars3Event in San Francisco, March 27-29th! On my last Disney press trip, I got to cross “walking the red carpet” off my bucket list for the #JungleBookEvent. Looks like I’ll have a couple more bucket list items to cross off after this trip of a lifetime. I can’t wait!
We’ll be attending a press day at the Sonoma Raceway for CARS 3 (opens in theaters June 16th), interviewing Director Brian Fee, Producer Kevin Reher and various animators. We’ll have the opportunity to take a lap around the racetrack in a real race car, learn how to quickly change out a tire at a pit stop and go on a tour of the garage. This wins major “cool mom points” with my 6 year old!
In addition to the CARS 3 festivities, we’ll be screening the new short film LOU and the upcoming Disneynature film BORN IN CHINA (opens in theaters April 21st). I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at both LOU and BORN IN CHINA while I attended the Disney Social Media Moms conference and both were fabulous! I can’t wait to see them again and hear from LOU Director Dave Mullins and Producer Dana Murray.
I’m looking forward to getting the inside scoop of Disney Junior’s new PUPPY DOG PALS (premiers in April 2017) and screening an episode. Pug parents and animal lovers are going to love this one! If all of that wasn’t awesome enough, we’ll be hanging at Pixar Animation Studios to learn about Pixar in a Box, followed by a special screening of the series premiere episode of THE TOY BOX (premieres on April 7th at 8/7c on ABC). I’ve already marked my calendar for this ultimate toy-competition series!
